Team 8841 OTTER
Founded in 2021 by Lead Mentors Marcus Robinson and Phu Nguyen, team OTTER began under a different name, the Redfins. In 2022, their rookie season, the team advanced to World Championships via the Rookie All Star award at the FRC Orlando Regional. Every year since then has seen an improvement in design and teamwork. In 2024, the team underwent a rebranding. Inspired by the playful spirit and tenacity of the animal, the team chose the Otter as their new mascot. The new moniker proved to be a hit, with the team winning an Imagery award at the 2025 Orlando Regional. You 'OTTER' believe this team is here to stay!

How do I join?
OTTER is a community team open to students in grades 9-12 in the greater Orlando area with a passion for learning, a desire to be a part of an award-winning team, and an interest in engineering and robotics. Applications for the 2026 season will open in August of 2025.
